FARNSFIELD CRICKET CLUB
We offer all year-round training and development opportunities for our senior players, training together throughout the winter utilising the indoor nets at Samworth Church Academy and at Station Lane throughout the summer cricket season.
We run three senior teams, all playing competitive league cricket on a Saturday and two teams that play on a Sunday. All pride themselves on their team spirit and fair play having signed up to our “Player’s Charter”.
The teams have shared many successes between them over the years, as division winners and in receiving regional and league team and individual awards. Many of our players, both male and female, have represented the County at junior level.
Currently all 3 Saturday teams play in the Bassetlaw & District League, in the Championship, Division 1 and Division 5 respectively
Our Sunday 1st XI plays in the Mansfield & District League Premier section. Whilst the Sunday Development side are in the Newark Club Cricket Alliance Division 4.
Senior training during the summer months takes place at the Station Lane ground on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm.
