Congratulations to Alex Ainger, who delivered a phenomenal innings on Sunday 10 August, smashing 178 runs against Midlands CC off just 90 balls, with 28 4s and 4 6s. His impressive total set the foundations for the Sunday team posting an impressive 360/5. There was more to cheer about with the bat as Joe West hit a quick-fire 63 and Dom Harris notched up his first 50 for the club. The sun shone, the crowd enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere, and Station Lane was at its summer best.
In the field, the team kept up the momentum. Midlands CC were bowled out for 135, with Dom Harris once again making his mark, this time with the ball, claiming a superb 5-wicket haul for just 18 runs off 8 overs.
